In addition to the general qualifications required for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy programme, applicants should have majored or minored in Statistics or a related field, and have basic skills in data analysis, knowledge in programming languages, and solid background in mathematics.

All applicants must also fulfill the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Graduate School.
