Course profile

The program is designed to maximize the return on investment for private sector and government participants, focusing on immediate workplace application of knowledge gained in the classroom and enhancing the learning experience by incorporating real-world challenges, projects, and team work. The program is designed so that military students, who might be deployed during the program, or traveling professionals are able to continue their studies no matter where they are located.

Approximately 80 percent of the academic work is accomplished online. The IU-UNC LogMBA utilizes content-rich online learning tools to allow flexibility for time-constrained corporate executives and both uniformed and civilian military and government personnel.

Students earn an MBA from Indiana University and a certificate in Global Supply Chain from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The program is completed mostly online, but features four residencies, including an overseas trip. Students can also choose between the supply chain elective track or strategic management elective track.
