Course profile

Accounting is a dynamic field of study and remains at the core of every business. Today's accountants are problem solvers, business advisors and much more. This program is for students wishing to become professionally qualified accountants.

Accounting activities are at the core of every business and are constantly evolving. E-commerce and environmental accounting (measuring the environmental costs of commercial decisions) are emerging areas at the cutting-edge of commerce. There is more demand today for accountants to provide information and integrated reporting on sustainable business practices to aid decision-making.

With corporate collapses and global market uncertainties having a devastating impact on the business world, the role of the accountant is central to operating and maintaining a financially strong and successful business in the face of fluctuating and often unstable conditions.
