Life often works in mysterious ways. Jamie Bilbow was born and raised in Hong Kong, but didn’t learn any Chinese for the first 18 years of his life. Little did he know that he would go on to earn a BA in Chinese Studies at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), University of London.

In April 2017, Marin Minamiya achieved what most people could never even dream of. The 20 year old became the 52nd person in the world and the youngest to ever climb the seven highest summits for each continent, and reach both the North Pole and the South Pole, completing the Explorer’s Grand Slam.
